Lloydminster Curling Club is an 8 sheet, not-for-profit club located in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. We are a family friendly club offering a wide variety of curling leagues for curlers of all ages and skill-levels. The roots and history of curling are deep in Alberta and Saskatchewan and we strive to grow the sport within Lloydminster and surrounding areas.

Lloydminster, AB/SK - The Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre has been reopened to the public following a temporary closure to address a small disturbance of asbestos-containing material. Professional assessments have been completed, and the building has been confirmed safe for public use.
The disturbance was identified in the upper mechanical room, which remains closed and contained while further low-risk cleaning is completed. There is no risk to the public, and all public areas are now safe for use.
The City of Lloydminster remains committed to maintaining high safety standards for all public facilities and thanks residents for their patience and cooperation during the temporary closure.
Background
The Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre has been temporarily closed since the afternoon of Wednesday, November 20, after a potential disturbance of asbestos-containing material was identified.
As a precautionary measure, the City of Lloydminster restricted public access to the facility and enlisted professional services to assess air quality and undertake any required remediation.
Lloydminster Curling Club Return to Curling Plan:
Ice technicians will need 24 hours to conduct necessary ice maintenance. Therefore, if everything goes to plan, all regular curling activities will resume Tuesday, December 3, 2024 @ 4:00PM.
Therefore, Junior Rockers presented by Cenovus Energy WILL RESUME ON TUESDAY DECEMBER 3 @ 4:00PM.
